FexoWorld ("we," "us," "our," or "Company") is committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how we handle your data. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we store it, and your rights regarding your data when you use our application. By using FexoWorld, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
We collect the following types of information: • Account Information: Your name, email address, and authentication credentials when you register • Email Attachment Data: Attachments from your Gmail or IMAP email accounts that you explicitly select for download • Uploaded Files: Excel and CSV files you upload for merging or processing • Usage Data: Basic information about how you interact with FexoWorld, such as features used and session duration We collect only the minimum data necessary to provide our services. We do NOT collect or store full email messages, email bodies, or email metadata beyond what is needed to identify and download attachments.
When you connect your Gmail account to FexoWorld: • Authorization: We access your Gmail data ONLY after you grant explicit consent through Google's OAuth 2.0 authorization flow • Scope: We request ONLY the gmail.readonly scope. This means we can read your emails to identify attachments, but we CANNOT modify, delete, or send emails on your behalf • Purpose: We use Gmail access solely to let you browse and select email attachments for download • Temporary Storage: Attachments you choose to download are temporarily stored on our servers so you can access them through the "My Downloads" section. These files are automatically deleted according to your plan's retention period (see "Data Retention & Deletion" below) • No Email Content Storage: We do NOT store email bodies, subjects, sender information, or any email metadata permanently • No Sharing: We NEVER sell, share, or transfer your Gmail data to any third party • No Advertising: Your Gmail data is NEVER used for advertising, marketing, or profiling purposes • Your Control: You can revoke Gmail access at any time through your Google Account permissions page (https://myaccount.google.com/permissions) FexoWorld's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
When you connect an email account via IMAP: • Connection: We connect to your email server ONLY to read and download attachments you select • Credentials: Your IMAP credentials are used solely to establish a connection and are stored securely using encryption • Temporary Storage: Downloaded attachments are temporarily stored on our servers and accessible through "My Downloads." These files are automatically deleted based on your plan's retention period • No Email Content Storage: We do NOT store email messages, bodies, or metadata permanently • Secure Connection: All IMAP connections use encrypted protocols (TLS/SSL) • Your Control: You can disconnect your IMAP account at any time from your FexoWorld settings
We use your information exclusively to: • Download and temporarily store email attachments you have selected from Gmail or IMAP accounts • Make downloaded files available to you through the "My Downloads" dashboard • Merge and process Excel/CSV files you upload • Maintain your account, authenticate your sessions, and manage your subscription • Improve service reliability, fix bugs, and enhance performance We do NOT use your data for: • Advertising or marketing to you or any third party • Selling or licensing to data brokers • Training AI/ML models • Profiling or behavioral tracking • Any purpose unrelated to providing FexoWorld services
FexoWorld temporarily stores downloaded email attachments and processed files on our servers. Here is how this works: • Purpose: Files are stored so you can access, review, and download them from the "My Downloads" section at your convenience • Isolation: Each user's files are stored in isolated storage. No other user can access your files • Visibility: You can see all your stored files in the "My Downloads" dashboard • User Control: You can manually delete any file at any time from "My Downloads" • Automatic Cleanup: Files that exceed your plan's retention period are automatically deleted. A cleanup process runs every 6 hours to remove expired files We do NOT retain files beyond their scheduled retention period and we do NOT create permanent backups of your downloaded files.
Our retention periods are as follows: • Free Plan: Files are retained for 7 days, then automatically deleted • Starter Plan: Files are retained for 30 days, then automatically deleted • Pro Plan: Files are retained for 90 days, then automatically deleted • Business Plan: Files are retained for 365 days, then automatically deleted • Account Data: Retained while your account is active. Deleted upon account deletion request • Technical Logs: Retained for up to 30 days for security and debugging purposes, then purged Automatic file cleanup runs every 6 hours. Expired files are permanently removed and cannot be recovered. You may also delete any file manually at any time through the "My Downloads" dashboard. Once deleted, files are permanently removed from our servers.
We take the security of your data seriously and implement the following measures: • Encryption in Transit: All data transferred between your browser and our servers is encrypted using TLS/SSL • Secure Authentication: We use industry-standard OAuth 2.0 for Gmail access and secure hashing for passwords • Isolated Storage: Each user's files are stored separately and are not accessible by other users • Access Control: Only authorized personnel have access to server infrastructure, and access is strictly limited • Regular Reviews: We periodically review our security practices and infrastructure
FexoWorld integrates with the following third-party services: • Google APIs: To access your Gmail account with your explicit authorization • IMAP Email Servers: To connect to your email provider for attachment downloads • Payment Processor (Razorpay): To process subscription payments securely. We do not store your full payment card details • Hosting Infrastructure: To run and serve the application We do NOT sell, share, or transfer your personal data or email data to any third party for their own purposes. Third-party services receive only the minimum information required to perform their function.
We use cookies strictly for functional purposes: • Session Management: To keep you securely logged in during your session • Authentication Tokens: To verify your identity across requests • User Preferences: To remember your language and display preferences We do NOT use: • Advertising or tracking cookies • Third-party analytics cookies • Cross-site tracking technologies • Cookies for profiling or behavioral targeting

FexoWorld's use of Google API data is fully compliant with Google's policies: • We access Gmail data only with your explicit, informed consent • We request only the gmail.readonly scope — the minimum needed to provide our service • We use Gmail data solely to identify and download attachments you select • We do not use Gmail data for advertising, market research, or email tracking • We do not allow humans to read your email data unless required for security purposes, to comply with applicable law, or with your explicit consent • We store attachments only temporarily, with clear retention periods and automatic deletion • You can revoke access at any time Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including all Limited Use requirements.
For users in the European Economic Area (EEA) and other regions with data protection laws: • Legal Basis: We process your data based on your explicit consent and the necessity to perform our contract with you • Data Minimization: We collect and store only what is necessary to provide our services • Right to Erasure: You can request deletion of all your data at any time • Data Transfers: If data is transferred outside your region, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place For users in other regions, we comply with applicable local data protection laws.
